Medieval Tournament

Took these at a Medieval Tournament a couple of weeks back. The group (Knights of the Northern Realm) hold an annual tournament at a local park to showcase their craft for the public.

What shall I try and maim the next guy with?

Ya, I have a bandaid on my nose! Wanna fight about it?

Great shots Chris. I especially like 1 and 4. I like the energy/dynamism of 1. I wonder how it would have looked with a shallower dof. Perhaps the audience distracts from the central characters? I'm not sure.

silverbullet !!! I was on Whyte Ave taking some of the those exact pictures as well ! It was neat to watch and man pretty hot to be wearing all thar armour.

These really are great shots Chris. But I must say that these guys look like they are having WAY too much fun to be in a battle. It always makes me smile. One of my sons is a die hard Dungeons and Dragons player. Sorta the same type breed as these folk don't ya think?
