Lightning Mk II

Ok i've displayed this photo before, but I did some enhancement and compositing to make it pop a bit more IMHO.

This was shot with the Pentax 10-17 fisheye.

I should note the original version comes up as No. 1 on flickr under Pentax K7 night images

Great shot, the blues from the lighting are amazing as well as all the colors in city.

Wow! This shot is amazing! I love everything about it, the composition, the colours, the stars from the street lights and car light trails and its very sharp! PURE EXCELENCE!

If you look at the top of his post it has all the data

6seconds according to the data.

I could swear it was 30seconds.

I did it all in manual mode.

Had to use recovery to correct a lot of the overblown highlights.

looks like a long way for the red lights to go in 6s. must be fast drivers in Australia

Exposure is definitely 30secs.

Well if they were driving like I do, then I could do it in less than 6 secs

Anyone else have any good lighting shots to share?

From a technical perspective, how do you get the shots with nice and thick lightning bolts?
