Sharp capture, however the composition is too central with too much empty space to the right.
Otherwise nicely done miss alexx.

The version I posted was a PP one. This is the original version. Maybe the composition is better in this one...

I like the composition and am fine with the negative space but maybe my eyes and monitor are worse than Ash's as I see little detail or color in the eyes and the white face is blown out.

I see the same. Fur is quite hard to shoot since the white is very white and blows all detail quite easily.

I try to go for EV-1 or even more when shooting fur, which I have been doing a lot lately with three little friends in the house!

When I want the fur detail to really show indoors I bounce a little flash off the ceiling so each hair has a nice dark shadow beneath it for contrast. Also that way there is no red-eye.

So adorable!

Did you happen to post some more photos of your cat a few days ago? I remember seeing one that looked a lot like this one.

What a adorable cat, the eyes look amazing. It's funny because I have a cat that looks just like that.

Thanks everybody for your comments. Next time I'll reduce the exposure a bit...

I think she's still looking good for a 10 years old cat.
