Part-2, The Desert in Bloom
Posted By: geezer52, 04-11-2010, 03:42 PM

When the Desert comes abloom, the Poppies and the Golden Fields provide the biggest show, but there are many supporting players, some small, some large, some in the poorest dirt. This is another slide show link to try and show more of what makes the desert alive in Spring. Some of the shots I'm very happy with, some very close, and a couple of oh-wells, that I tried to make interesting and give a feel for what they're like. Plz enjoy and of course comments are welcome (And just for Peter I got a few top down shots)

I would suggest actually posting a few photos on the forum, it makes it easier for us!

Since you put yours on Flickr though, I'll be nice. :P

Oh! I love the slideshow...these are all very nice photos.

I don't usually look up a link...but in your case...I made an exception. Your Desert In Bloom Part 1 was exceptional...and the Part 2 did not disappoint me...I was mesmerized by the sheer beauty of the Desert in Bloom!

I would also agree that posting the photos here does make it alot easier for us. Anyway, I am very impressed with your photos, the colors in the desert really surprised me.

Thank you all for taking the time to view the slide show. There was just too much I wantd to show that it didn't seem right posting so many shots and I didn't know what I should leave out. But I understand your points so no more slide show links for me.

But again, thank you and I appreciate your taking time to comment

Beautiful!

Yes, so many of these shots were lovely! I don't usually open links either though, but I made an exception as it was here on Pentax Forums. . . Glad I did!

Geezer, stunning flowers especially the fields of orange poppies. The field near the end with the road running into was a standout for me. It was worth clicking on the link even though my finger did get tired.
