This is one of my first cross process attempts. I'm trying to find a good decription of what cross process is supposed to emulate. I thought it was film, but I gave it a shot anyway.

Thanks for looking

and for those of you who gave me some feedback on my last shots with the flowers..thanks

It looks like the cross processing has bumped up the saturation and contrast quite a bit. From what I understand, cross processing gives unnatural colors and a "pastel" kind of look.

I like it in this case, it goes well with feelings of "childhood."

I agreed with wshi on the "over cross processing" part.
The saturation and contrast was adjusted quite a bit till it gives unnatural colors and a "pastel" kind of look.

But over-all, I like the picture as it reminds me of a child having fun playing ball.

Thanks for sharing and have a nice day.

Very nice shot, but I agree that it looks over-processed. If you tone down the colors a little bit I think the photo will look much better.

Thanks for the comment. I usually try to stay as natural as possible with my colors (That is one major reason I got a Pentax), I just experiment every once in a while to see what it effect it has on people's perceptions. I'll give your suggestion a try in Aperture and see where it goes from there!

Interesting results. colors are oversaturated, but shot works. A great time in a ball players career, when the glove is just about as big as the player
