Nature strobed still life

Shot with two Flashes, I'm really going to like playing with the new gear!

Very nice photo, the composition is pretty cool and the subject is neat as well. However, a little light from the right side would make this shot more evenly lit and more appealing IMO.

I had one strobe snooted camera left generating the brightness, and another camera right on a stand using a silver umbrella shooting down and to the left, you can see the shadow it casts in the lower left of the frame.

Thanks for the comments I'll will definitely be doing more experimenting!

This turned out very nicely, but I don't like the uneven lighting coverage on it. It's a really good start though.
