Ran into this ittle guy today so I took a couple quick shots. I like photos of reptials, need to get more.

The first photo is really good, and I mean like really good. I don't want to know how close you had to get to the snake to get that, but you sure did a great job of it.

My son has two house snakes, we were told that they are a pair and we gave them the names of Eva and Dirk. I must get some nice photos of them. You ones are lovely.

Oren, you must have come real close to this animal! I guess it's not poisonous or otherwise harmful?
We are very poorly endowed with snakes: only 3 species, as far as I remember, and 1 legless lizard. So the chance of shooting one here is near to zero.

I like your shots, they're clear and sharp, and bring out the character of the animal very well. And I like the symmetry of the first one: nice composition (and a willing model )

Nice shot, I like the second one a little more... his head looks skinny though (in my book skinny head = bad, fat head = python) is he a poisonous one or cleverly disguised as one? Either way nice captures, TYFS

Lovely snake Oren. The first one is my favorite. Give me a good snake over a creepy spider any day.

Looks like Thamnophis ordinoides aka Northwestern Garter snake. Beautiful little reptiles. Here they tend to be blackish with yellow stripes. This coloring is unknown to me but really quite attractive.

Did he stink up the place? Here they tend to secrete a foul-smelling fluid from postanal glands when handled, threatened, or harmed.

Very nice shots, the colors look great and the sharpness is very good as well. Personally, I would be running away from that thing, I'm not a huge snake fan. However, they still are very cool and there eyes really are stunning when seen up close.
