My first composite
Lens: 70-300mm Camera: k-7 Photo Location: central New York Shutter Speed: 1/6000s

First off... a tip of my hat to member Johnmflores! I saw his shots of the tennis classic yesterday and asked some questions which he kindly answered. So, this is my first attempt at a composite. Came out ok, I guess - BUT... there is one glaring mistake (among other things that could be improved, I'm sure ). Can you spot what it is?

The 1st base coach is out of the coaching box - and too close to the base?

ummm... nope. I meant with the photograph, not the players/umps etc.

If by the "umpire" you mean the guy in the white shirt... he has two arms, it's just the left one is in shadow.

I meant that I did something wrong in the process of doing the composite, which I'd need to fix the next time I did it. Thanks for your guesses. Any more?

Very nice try here, there are a few things that could use some improvement, but overall you did very well. I have been meaning to try this out so thanks for the motivation and thanks for sharing as well.

GingeM is correct. I forgot to put the shadow on the runner on the far right. Thanks for all your comments.

Great job for your first composite! I especially like the chalk and dust being kicked up on the far left - really helps to impart a sense of movement!

It also appears that her front foot is going under the ground.

Good job on your first composite even tough there are some minor flaws here and there. I like the chalk and dust being kicked up on the far left.
Thanks for sharing.

Cheers.
