Sigma 70-200mm (non DG, non macro, non HSM)
Camera: K20D Photo Location: Sports Stadium

It is my favourite lens

It was my daugther's school sports day and I took the opportunity to snap

I would have posted many more pictures if not for restrictions imposed by the school

Forgive my skills

This lens is definitely capable of better results

This is a very nice looking series, however, there are a few things that could be better. If you can I would bump up the saturation and contrast on these slightly. By doing this the photos will pop more and look really lifelike. I also really like the first shot with all those cups, the depth of field adds a lot to the image and I really like.

Thanks for sharing.

Keep practicing.
Indeed this is a fine old lens.
Nice results, with the above caveats on working with post-processing.

My sincere thanks to the both of you, Tuner 571 and Ash

Both of you have been most kind with your comments and suggestions

Frankly, other than resizing (which I do because of my need to post pictures here for sharing purposes), I am simply too lazy to do any other forms of PP

Hope both of you or any other members can advise. Is there anyway I can do adjustments to my K20D to achieve the required greater saturation and contrast on on my shots with this beauty please? :ugh:

Well, click on the Fn button and bring up that menu. From there press the ok button to enter all the different color modes. Now you can set what you want manually or you can use the arrow keys around the ok button to scroll through all the different settings. From what I can remember you have bright, landscape, monochrome, vibrant, and two others. If I were you I would switch it to vibrant and see what you think of that.

Thank you very much, Cory

I'll give it a try immediately

I wish with the adjustment, I'll be able to share better pictures with yourself and all other members here
