I wish I had my AF 360 flash on hand so I could keep more detail where there are shadows. Tough exposures but overall im fairly happy.

Very nice looking shot, the detail in his skin is really something. I like that you used the flash here as it really helped with the lighting and really gave a nice look to the photo. I am also surprised that he was not bothered by you taking photos of him, did he try and run away at all when you were shooting?

Well I just learned that it is a bearded dragon which is apparently native to Australia. Therefor Im assuming this was someones pet at one time or another. It actually loved being held, and was very easy going. My neighbor is keeping him/her for now so I'll have more opportunities to take pictures

Wow, that is really cool! I never thought that it would actually let you hold it, if it was me I probably would have kept it cause that would be one cool pet. It's good to hear that your neighbor is taking care of it as I don't think it would last long being in the wild if it isn't afraid of people.

This was in the middle of the road? Where do you live?

These are very cool, and I think that I like the first one a little bit more because of the framing and the fact that it's a little bit lighter, but the second one also looks very nice too.

The 2nd one has a nice 3D pop to it. I like how the head contour is framed and outlined by the background. I find it a little dark, though.
