Sports Golf...Shell Houston Open

Hello all,

I had the chance to take my gear out to the Shell Houston Open this year. I'm a golfer in my free time so this was a lot of fun. I'm proud of some of the shots I got and I even managed to get the winner of the Shell and the guy who won the next week at the Masters. Please enjoy!

That first scenery photo is my favorite, but that's probably just because I like scenery photos more than golf (sorry but I really do!), but your golf photos also turned out very nicely.

There's a little bit of overexposure on that last one though, it's very noticeable around his feet or else I wouldn't have really noticed it (well I know what the fairway green is supposed to look like too, and that's not it!), but these are all very nice photos.

Thank you guys for the comments! The one of Y.E. Yang at the very end is a bit over-exposed, but I had some trouble with the glare from the surface of the putting green.

I have to agree with both of you though on the favorite. The first shot was actually the very first shot I took as soon as I arrived in the morning. The water was super calm and the haze and mist made for an amazing shot. I'm thrilled with how well the reflection came out.

Very nice looking photos, I really like the colors except for a few that look slightly overdone. I also like the depth of field that you used on these shots as it really makes the golfers pop from the background trees and grass.

Good take on the Houston Open Golf series, phillipb.
Love everyone of them. I am a golfer too and was that Mickelson I saw on the picture above YE Yang? Wow, looks so close to be true.
