Crystal Cathedral
Posted By: mediaslinky, 07-21-2007, 11:18 AM

My conference last week took us on a tour of the HD production facilty at the Crystal Cathedral. Built in 1984, there are no "house" lights and no air conditioning. In the late summer the temps can rise to 104 degrees. They have some strategically placed windows to vent air, including two 90 foot openings. It's a very humid room, like being outside. But it's a beautiful place. Kit lens on a DS (hence the vignetting)

For those interested: a picture of the HD control room.

Looks a beautiful/unusual building. Nice compositions/perspectives.
