Ice in a Birdbath

Emptied the ice from my Eskie so the birds could have a cool bath!

I think I just lost my appetite. That is not some pretty looking water, but it does definitely make for an interesting photo. I'm kind of curious as to why the water is that color though, those must be some dirty birds that you have bathing in there.

The water is clear, it's the colour of the ceramic birdbath showing through.

Ah, I suppose that would have made a lot more sense if I had realized that before (the birdbaths that I've seen are usually white, so I wasn't expecting this color on yours).

I like it too. Wish I hadn't known what it was because it has such a nice texture, is sharp, and the colors are lovely. Makes a nice abstract and the fact that it is a birdbath just didn't add anything to it for me.

Very cool looking shot, the colors are very impressive and the textures are sharp as well. I once tried this but I never thought about adding color to the image. Its a very nice abstract looking photo and thanks for sharing.
