There is a wonderful place in Southeastern CT called Buttonwood Farms. They have fabulous home made ice cream and are famous for their fields of sunflowers. Every year they sell bundles of sunflowers for the Make a Wish Foundation. My family and I enjoyed a nice afternoon there today. I even had a chance to try out my new Signma 135-400.

Hi Stu, I certainly didn't count them, but the farm does when they plant. It's really cool to walk among them and look up. There was to much direct light so not all of my shots came out.

Born and raised in CT. and never heard of this place. Looks like a fun time and amazing see of flowers. thnak for sharing it with us.

Hi Pat B, Buttonwood Farms is on Route 165 in Griswold, you really have to want to get there to find the place, but it's worth the trip.
