That speed limit sign looks like it has sure been through a lot! I really like this, but there's some artifacting on the right side, which might have been caused when you uploaded it and posted it to PentaxForums. Otherwise I think that this is a very nice photo.

Yeah... artifacts could be because of the upload but most probably from my PP that I didn't notice.
Anyways, thanks. And good luck on your run for the K-X prize.

I would have never have thought of taking a picture of a speed limit sign, but this one really works as a photo. The reason I think it looks good is because it is taken in black and white and the sign has a very old look to it. Thank you sir for sharing

Nice angle and PP. What aperture did you use? Can you post a colored version of this

I like it too. Including the road was a nice touch. Thanks for sharing it.

As Jools as demonstrated, signs can be a lot of fun. Open up your horizons. I got this one this past Saturday.

Cool idea and cool shot - B&W was the way to go.

Something different - well done.

Cool pictures, Jool.

I like it in B&W rather than in colours.
The wide angle scene really captured the signboard and give it the "stand-out" view one finds in an outstanding picture.
Thanks for sharing, Jool.

Cheers.

Definately all will have to slow down. It's a 90 degree turn and if one does not slow down, expect an accident to happen.
When I saw this picture, I told myself" Cool!! At least Monticello people prefers a slow speed"

Cheers.

Thanks to all for your comments. Sorry for the delay and being a newb at posting images.
Picture was taken at f5.6 if I recall correctly.
I had envisioned this in black and white from the beginning. But here's the color version, gives a slightly different feeling IMO.
