Yes, but it seems to work better as a B&W graphic representation. Color distracted from the simplicity of the composition.

I like this one a lot better than the butterfly on a flower, because it really stands out well in its kind of artistic form. I'm curious, did you make these with Adobe CS5? I've seen illustrations of how the painting effect works on photos, and it looks very nice.

Yes, this was Adobe'd. I'm a novice with this software, though, & have a long way to go before I can fully take advantage of it's power. Fortunately, you don't have to be a master to match your vision with all tasks.

This one looks more artistic than the "butterfly on a flower" one, IMO.

Wow, very nice shot! The colors are really great and I really like the effect the effect that you used here as well. I can't believe that I never tried this filter when I had photoshop as it looks like you can make some great photos.
