Hi,
Here are a few recent pictures from a quick day trip to Rottnest Island. It was a beautiful sunny day - so colourful I essentially didn't do any PP...

Any comments welcomed, cheers

Thanks. Quokkas? I haven't really thought much about photographing them before... Might have to next time :P
To be honest this was a really quick trip and I hardly moved more than boat -> pub -> shop -> jetty.

These were all done with either the DA35 or DA15. First 2 DA35 and the rest DA15. These limiteds love the colour/contrast

Thanks rustynail!

cheers,

I am not a huge fan of the place really.. though there are some good photo opportunities on the far side of the island. However this really is too far from the pub... dilemmas.
Might have to have a perth pentaxian photo day there at some point.

I never used to be either. But from a photography POV I like the colour and the contrast everywhere. It would be a good venue for a photo day, with some planning.

Awww man, more beautiful beach shots. You did a great job on captureing the beautiful clear blue water and the shot of the dock is really nice as well. I also like the photo with all the boats in the water, sure makes me wish I had one.

Thanks for sharing.
