Dusted off the 1000mm and just caught what came by the back deck off the house.

Very nice sharp shots. What lens were you using?--

It's not a telephoto but a scope.
It's really too big to use out in the field unless I really need it's reach.

It looks like this:

Birds

Hi Wildman,
Did fantastic job there, with weather so nice here in recent past, been nothing
to put birds on ground for most part. Really like Tanager in #4, we have em
around here, courtship takes place close to ground level, then they pretty
much spend rest of time in top most part of canopy of trees.
Inaccessible for the most part (less you have "big gun" like your shooting)
Lots of moisture coming in from gulf, cloud cover should put some down
this week. If I can do half as well as what you have, will be very happy.
Congrats

Wow, these shots are fanstatic. I sure wish I had a 1000mm lens to do my bird photography. Also, not only are these shots well composed and have beautiful color they are tack sharp as well. My favorite out of the set is definitely the second one with all the beautiful greens.

Well done,
Cory
