Wow, this is a really powerful photo. I was a little bit blown away by how strong its presence was when I first clicked on this page. The sunset light on that statue really only amplifies it too, wow I'm really amazed by this. I think that the crop is perfect here on this photo too.

I very compelling shot, and - given the sun direction relative to your shooting position - an excellent piece of techical work. Great job,

Wow, talk about pretty much perfect lighting, almost looks like a still frame from a movie.

Thanks guys.....I gotta say I was happy with this one too......out of the 30 odd shots this is the keeper.......I sat and waited for that light to creep forward.
I am nearly up to saying I have worked out how this camera works.......so now I can take more time on the actual image than all the other stuff.
I thought it was social commentary because of the old fallen headstone with the more modern religious statue at the bottom of it. Someone has nodded their head to their ancestor.....
cheers

What do you mean with 'nodding their head to'. I'm not trying to be annoying, I just don't understand what that means (being a foreigner and all).

By the way, great photo, I hadn't said that yet.

This is a great photo and it shows how HDR should be done. I really like the composition with the gravestone at the left of the photograph as it follows the rule of thirds. I also like that the HDR technique is not screaming in your face. It is very suttle and very well done, thanks for sharing.

Sorry Kevin! The great Australian language..........nodding your head means acknowledging something........or someone...in this case the ancestor.....
Thanks Tuner.........I am slowly working it out.......PP fascinates me......
