These were taken with the K10D and the 50-200.

Canada goose telling me to keep my distance.

When I took this photo, I did not see the second fly. I did see the ant though.

I did not have the time to manually focus this one...but I post this one here because for a 200 dollar lens...what a background.

Magnificent crisp shot of the goose's head. Never knew geese had "teeth". Close up photography helps us to see things we'd perhaps never notice otherwise. Looks like he was in the middle of dinner. Were you desert? Nice shots of the flower head/bugs and of the butterfly; yes a beautiful background.

Yes I got a little too close to him during lunch hour. He looked up at me and hissed. That is when I took the photo. Luckily for me, he didn't decide to chase me, being quite content in giving me a warning. He soon went for more food.
