At Petra In Jordon Today (Teaser)
Camera: K7
Posted By: Christopher M.W.T, 04-20-2010, 11:22 AM

Fisheye shot, stiched from about 4-5 shots taken from Petra, it wasn't actually planned. I took a good 400 or so photo's today haven't had a chance to process. Interestingly enough I did see another tourist with a Pentax K20.

As I get time I'll upload a whole set to flickr once I process.

Very nice series of photos, that photo of the temple in the stone reminds me of Indiana Jones. I also really like all the colors in the photos as the orange stones really make the photos bright and appealing.

Thanks for sharing,
Cory

I like the one of the building and the one of the ampitheater... are they both fisheye? What lens? Great perspective!

Handsome horse? nah that's just me :P

Yes used the fisheye in the Roman theatre, not sure that I was supposed to be up there as it was closed off but I climbed anyway. :P

The photos were taking with the Fisheye and the 18-55 WR lens, for a cheapie it's been very impressive well worth its money it gets far more use than the DA* 50-135.

The ampitheater taken at 10mm with the fisheye.

The Panorama was about 4-5 FE shots at 10mm stitched in PtGui.

Actually the treasury building was the exterior of the resting place of the grail in the Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade film.

One of the few places that I would also like to go visit.
Absolutely incredible history there. The image that peeks out of the cavern and the image that you took looking into the doorway peek my interest. The other ones are great as well and show the whole landscape. Enjoy your trip in Petra!
