Wow, now that is a cool looking perspective on this photo. However, I am guessing that to get this photo that you held the camera out over the edge of the building. If you did you are a very brave person to do this as I probably would have dropped it. lol

The Calgary Tower is 191m (627 ft) in height. A section of the floor is glass, I went to the outer part and turned around, took the photo and ran back, lol.

OK, now try this at the CN tower! I could not even dare to step out onto the glass floor there; my body was seized by a primal fear and I froze. My daughter thought I was being very odd.

A dramatic shot that shows of the DA14 nicely. I might try to emphasise the reflection and give a general boost in PP.

Thanks rpamar and rusty, this photo has been on my site for some time now. I should go back and edit it a bit. It's mainly the motion waving it still gives me that I enjoy

Thanks all, I had a heck of a time inching my way to the other side of the glass floor. My son, who was almost 5 years old at the time had no issues, he was laying on the glass having a blast. ...not I!

Opposite view here. You can see the glass floor from this shot as well;

For me, my legs start getting wobbly and I have this fear of heights thingy too if I am up in the Tower.
Thanks for sharing.

The "great" thing about the CN tower is that is has a high-speed glass elevator. That trip alone freaks out enough people. The strategy they use to get people over it is to talk to them the whole time, telling them some useful "facts" to distract them from the fact they are rising higher than the birds into the sky, protected by a small cage of glass and metal.

Great shot!! Now having said that, looking at it the first time, made me back up. I don't do heights very well. Two feet off the ground and I get dizzy.
