I received a very nice gift for my birthday. A new Tamron 90 mm lens! I'm so happy so here are the first shots with it. Your comments are welcome.

These are with the Tamron 90mm macro? Wow, these are pretty good, especially for your first photos. I hope you like your camera, I've been wanting a K-x for quite a long time, it seems like such a good camera. You look like you're off to such a great start, let's see some more photos from it!

Nothing. The fact that you can even get close enough to a house fly and snap a picture, AND be in focus, While it is still alive, you are one up on me already and I've been trying for years. Looking forward to many more photos from you! Happy whatever day it was that prompted the gift.

Congrats on the great gift, I sure wish I could get a lens on my birthday. I really like how sharp these photos are and the depth of field is perfect. I also like the second one the best with all that grass in the background.
