This little bugger was sitting in a desk chair readying to pounce himself onto my puppy. Anywho, this image was converted to b&w, and the eyes have a bit of color still in them.

55mm @ 1/15 F5.6 ISO400

Addtionally, I'm also looking for feedback on the border/logo.

I like the expression and pose you caught and the overall composition. To my eye focus looks just a touch over soft. I would have been interested to see the colour version for comparison. I'm still trying to work out the pros and cons of b&w conversion, though I guess this will vary for every shot depending upon the effect you want. I like the caption.

Hi channeler, the softness was added with a duplicate layer and a gaussian blur. Thanks for looking!
