I just picked up the Tamrom 18-250 and wouldn't you know it tonight there is a storm. It is more sheet lighting and heavy rain so no good lighting shots. But just before the storm hit I ran from the mall and grabed a few shots. It has been so hot and dry here the last few weeks the rain is welcome.

The lens did quite well at 18mm in the dusk ...No crop PP jpeg right out the K10D

nice cloud formations there - I'm always fascinated with them, and you've captured them beautifully here.

Thanks Dan (I really wonder what those would look like with an IR Filter!) - We don't get too many storms here but with the recent hot weather - when a cold front hits , we get a lot more action. I am a storm chaser at heart as well - not a storm catcher cause then what would I do!

Great shot's Dave, looks like a great lens.

At the wide angle 18mm is much like my 18-200 (more than just good) - and I haven't found a reason to search for a better / more professional lens. And I have been searching.
