Hi Everybody,
Weather was too threatning to have the big toys out. Spotted these birds
near confluence of Mississippi and Missouri rivers. Shot toad last week when
I was there. Toads were just starting to emerge from burrows, once that
happens, virtually everything moving through interieor of continent that has
an appetite for toads drops in around here.

I think they all look really good, especially the frog at the end. The middle photo is my favorite though, I love birds in the water like that, those are one of my favorite types of photos. The only comment I would have about them though is that the contrast seems a little bit low in all of them.

This is a very nice set of photos, especially the second one. I too love those birds but I just don't have a lens long enough to capture them. Everytime I go out and shoot them they move away before I can get close enough, thanks for sharing these great photos.
