Zebras on Ice
Lens: DA 10 - 17 Camera: KX Photo Location: Rink ISO: 100 Shutter Speed: 1/30s Aperture: F4

So I took out my new to me Fish Eye to take some shots at the rink... WOW is it wide... I can see end to end with this thing. I crop'd the second shot in close to make a subject, but it is tough to find a subject in the lens without being on top of whatever you are shooting. I do like how you can take a picture of someone beside you. I am planning on taking it to the golf course tomorrow morning and hoping for some good shots.

I need to' look into a program that will clean up the barrel distortion.

But I think I will have fun with this!

When they say wide angle lenses are wide, they aren't kidding! I learned that the same way that you did too. I love the first photo, although the second one is just kind of Ok for me. The first one is very nice though, I really like that photo a lot and the black and white conversion is very nice.

Wow, I have never used this lens, but it does indeed look very wide. Out of your photos I really like the first one with all the roof beams adding neat lines to the image. The second photo would have been good, but its a little blurry for me.

Yeah missed the second one, it is a very tight crop of a larger picture and I think it doesn't have enough detail, or the shutter was not fast enough.... or I cannot focus... really could be anything

Even though I do not fancy fish eyes, I like the first photo.
It shows just how wide this lens can perform.
Thanks for sharing, icywarm.
