Wow, that is a very impressive first photo. I'm not sure what kind of bird this is, but it looks quite large in your photographs. I also like that in your first one you used a slower shutter speed to pan the bird giving the photo a great sense of motion.

The angle of the wingspan on the second photo is much better, along with the not so good panning (sorry, but you need to work on it, good start though!) but I just really like that one a lot more especially with the title that you used here.
