Spring is here! (coltsfoots)
Lens: Pentax DA* 16-50mm Camera: Pentax K10D Photo Location: Norway

The coltsfoot is a surefire sign of spring! I usually don't take flower photos, and the coltsfoot is not really a very pretty flower, so maybe that's why I really enjoyed taking these photos C&C welcome!

I think you did them justice andlike the way they are reaching for the sky in the third shot. That has a bit of drama to it!

The second one is the one that I like the most, the sun shining that certain light on it really works in that case, but the rest of them are also very nice. The effect I think just works on that one the most, so I like it a lot more than the rest of the photos.

Thanks for the kind comments. I intentionally shot this in strong backlight to get this effect. The 16-50mm doesn't usually handle flare well, but I thought it worked well here.

Very nice looking shots, I always enjoy looking at all the flowers when spring comes around and you did a great job captureing them. The colors look great and the shots are very sharp as well, thanks for sharing.

Thanks. Although not a macro lens, the 16-50mm can do close-ups decently.
