That first photo is great, I know how hard it is to get a good photo of someone intercepting a throw, you did great with that one. The second one is nice too, but I wish I could have seen the guy kicking the ball instead of running up to kick it.

Thanks for the comments. There's always an ounce of luck when following action. For the second one, because of the angle I was at the actual kick was not as good. I liked the dynamics of punt preparation. Voters seemed to agree

I can see why they were accepted - these are sharp but have got the action.

I really like the first photo as well, you captured the action very well. I also like the amount of color in the image and how sharp the photo is as well. Thanks for sharing these great shots and congrats on getting into the PPG.

Both of these were shot woth the FA 100-300 f4,7. This underdog can perform well, especially with SR to help keep things sharp.

The second one is tack sharp even at 100%, honestly the first one is sharpeenough but not my sharpest shot ever. There was nota lot of light that day, but for wel and normal prints it turns out perfect.

Why not? There'a s good amount of luck for any such shot (especially the first one), a fair amount of anticipation, and you need to accept that most shots for one day will not be that good. Practice helps too
