Odd man with big tires

Just wanted to share

A man with an interesting anatomy (look at the man in the background ... he's shocked too ).

I don't know if I want to see the rest of that thing, what was it? Looks like those are the only tires, at least from what I can see, was it some kind of a stunt thing or was this really just a giant construction vehicle there?

Yes, "Liebherr T 282 C", aka the world's biggest truck.

The man's strange anatomy is from a stitching error as the truck didn't want to fit my frame

Man, I would love to drive that thing, it really must be an amazing experience! I also can't believe the amount of lugs on that wheel; it would take all day just to get the lugs off! Thanks for sharing this shot, you sure don't see these everyday.

The truck has six such wheels.

The wheels and tires really look over-dimensioned. But this is just one of these examples where things don't scale proportionally and therefore, break human intuition.

Insects can walk on water and big trucks need bigger wheels in proportion. Makes me wonder about aircraft wheels which aren't big actually ...


P.S.
The images were shot yesterday at Bauma, which happens to be the world's largest trade fair.
