One question I have...I see there is a flash reflection in the eyes of both birds. Are you using a flash to improve the lighting? and if so, is it the pop-up or remote. I saw a similar bird posting with a tip of using a remote flash close to a bird feeder by cdurfor. (

Thank you Kevin, I use an old Pentax AF280T flash with a tele ext. on camera in manual mode. A remote wouldn't work for me as most of my images are not taken near feeders.
