Macro From The Forest Floor

My macroseason is finally opened for this summer.

These are sporangiums of Common Haircap Moss (Polytrichum sp.).

Very beautiful shots here, the depth of field is amazing as is the subject in focus. I also like that beautiful bokeh the lens you are using is creating in these shots. Thanks for sharing these great photos.

Beautiful

Initially, I have reservations for especially the 3rd shot

But my appreciation for 2nd and 3rd shots grew when I take a 2nd look at them :ugh:

Lovely shots - welcome to the magical world of macro.

I have the same lens but have not used it much yet. Nice to see what it can do.

Thanks! Yes this Sigma lens produces really nice bokeh.

Actually I have photographed for two years now with this lens so the world of macro isn't so new to me. )
