Cityscape Chemainus, BC - Mural Town

The family went to Vancouver Island for the weekend. We stopped, very briefly in a town call Chemainus, it is famous for it's murals on most the walls of the local businesses there. I would have liked more time but, we were on our way to a family wedding!

Ah....home (at least for the last few years of high school). My mom did the mural behind the water wheel. It's nice to see the pics...and I am glad to see that the murals are still holding up!

I really wish we had more time there. It was the first time for the kids

The family had lunch, walked around 1 full block and then it was time to go. The Island is something we are going to have to visit in the Summer.
