Sun dawn serie
Lens: da 16-45 & dal 55-300 Camera: k-x Photo Location: canada

Heres a couple shot i took with k-x, 55-300 and 16-45 on shores of St-Lawrence River in Boucherville Québec, Canada

This one is my first try at playing with HDR

Very nice! I think I would crop a bit off the bottom on #1 and lower the horizon a little. It's almost too close to centered right now, and the foreground really doesn't add anything. Crop it to just about the edge of hte water and see how you like it.

first one is a smaller crop
and the second is right after the water crop

Beautiful colors on your first one. It's too bad for the power lines... I also like the last one for the composition. Very nice series. Thanks for sharing.

Very nice series of shots here, I really like the second and third ones with the bird silhouettes.

I really like these, well done! Did you use the in-camera HDR or did you do it in PP?

i used photomatix pro for HDR and a little lightroom also
didnt tried the k-x in camera hdr yet

First and third are just great IMO, I'd crop second one though.

I like the Heron shots in silhouette. Minimalist but they work well.

In a perverse way I think the power lines add to the sunset shot. They lead the eye and give the photo a sense of scale. Without them the photo might be rather flat and uninteresting.

without them its kinda empty
