First Sunset
Lens: DA 55-300mm Camera: K-x Photo Location: Maryland ISO: 200 Shutter Speed: 1/1000s Aperture: F6.7

I happened to look outside and see that the sunlight was very orange, so I went up to the roof of my apt building to see if I could get the sunset. The strong wind was blowing me everywhere, so I had to shoot at 1/1000. This is the first outing for my DA 55-300mm. The shoot was only 3 minutes long, as it was going down fast!

Turned out pretty well, I think, for a spontaneous, quick shoot! Open to suggestions.

Thanks. I was glad everything in the foreground got backlit so well. There's a bunch of ugly buildings there. I wanted to try a wider angle shot, too, but I was shooting between rod iron bars, so I couldn't.

3&4 for me,
1 has too much of dark space
2 I'd crop huge portion of the empty sky off.
Nice series though.
