It is great to see this image of a White Ibis, are you in Florida? I think that photographing any white bird can be very challenging in the afternoon or in the shade. I am inclined to trust that the photographer accurately reproduced the colors that he or she saw, with the knowledge that the white color can absorb and reflect the environment. thanks for posting these cool images.
