Some pics shot after sun down from the Woodland Memorial Garden in New Westminster.

The history behind this garden is pretty interesting; Woodlands used to be British Columbia's largest institution for people with developmental disabilities. A park was built over the cemetery (which was next to the institution) where over 3,300 residents were buried. When the new hospital was built on these lands, many of the grave markers were recycled and used in a multitude of ways. Years later, through the work of several organizations, a memorial was erected to remember the dead.

There's something special about how the 43 renders scenes - this is no exception.
That last one is just oozing with texture and vibrancy.

Appreciate the comments; the 43mm definitely has something about it. A pity it can't focus a little closer, say 5 cm?
