We had some rain overnight, so the snails came out their hiding places, giving me an opportunity to play a bit with my camera.

Great looking shot Rense! I love that you were able to get the focus perfectly on the eye. I also love all the colors in that beautiful background; thanks for sharing.

Thank you! I have some more of this series, with some more of the snail in focus, but I thought this one was rather awkward....
