This is Monrovia, Liberia taken from my front porch the other night. I am struggling to get sunset pictures sharp and the colors right. Any thoughts on what could make this shot, and others better?

Looks OK to me. Best you can do is focus on infinity and meter and shoot the picture. Thanks for the view.

If you are shooting jpegs, what do you have your white balance set on? The "daylight" setting normally preserves the colors of a sunrise or sunset the best.....strange as that might seem. (-:

If the colors aren't quite popping as much as they were, give it just a touch of saturation too, but your shot seems to have plenty of color already, so it's not really necessary.
