K-x clicking during exposure

I have a K-x and there is a constant clicking noise during the exposure. You don't notice it with fast shutter speeds but on slower shutter speeds it is causing camera shake and blurred images? Here is what i have tried:

put in fresh batteries, tried a different lens, no lens, manual and auto exposures, remote shutter vs button.

Any other ideas?

Is the clicking during the exposure or after? Have you mounted the camera on a tripod and tested it at lower speeds to see if the images are still blurred? Have you tried turning off SR?
Because it you put the camera on a tripod and you still get blurry images it could be that the SR system could be out of whack and that's the clicking noise and the cause of blurry images.

If possible record a video or audio of the clicking noise and post it here.

The camera was on a tripod. I was using the remote when i initially noticed the problem, and on the K-x SR is disabled when using the remote drive mode. I tried try to post a video of audio purposes only and the file size is to big. (only about 5 seconds and was 35 MB) Not sure I what I would video? I did put it BULB mode with lens off to look at the sensor but that didn't show anything either.

If it happens with longer exposures maybe you're just hearing the shutter or lens aperture activation.

I have attached an example image. Notice the blur. This was taken from a tripod. Would the electricity usage or the hutter or lens aperture activation cause this? I hadn't noticed this in the past.

It may be the SR acting up.
Hopefully it's not as bad as the video, but try a factory default. If you don't have the latest firmware, I would update that as well.
My K5 did this once after a hot day of shooting.

The electric sound is not a clicking noise, and the aperture and shutter activation sounds one opening and once closing, not a continuous clicking. I agree with manacho2005, based on the image and the fact that the camera was on a tripod with remote release, it seems to be an SR issue like I said in the first reply. Turn SR off in the menu (for all drive modes), update firmware (if you don't have the latest) and do a reset to factory settings . Shoot a few frames to see if the problem persists, if it does, you might need to send it off to service.

Yeah if SR is acting up, it won't matter if it's switched on or off.
It needs to float steady even when off, so you more than likely need some service.

Sending it in tomorrow. They said it be 7-10 days if they have any needed parts in stock. If not it could take 6 weeks. Hope they have what I need.
