i have a question for you guys, when looking inside my recently purchased sigma 8 16 the blades dont make a perfect pentagon shape.. I don't know how to explain, is hard to take a picture o it . One of the sides looks bigger than the others.

it seems to take pictures just fine but should i be concerned about it?

PushTheButton, I really like your image of the Chevy! Nicely captured.

True of my copy, too, but I'm not going to lose any sleep over it--the photos are fine.

I took it out for the first time today. You really need to know what you are doing with this baby. I took a lot of shots with a whole lot of nothing on them. 8mm makes my jaw drop. Here is a diagonal crop of one I liked today .

This one was auto focus I believe. I'm still learning with it but I love it so far.

(I'm whoring this picture out as well - such great color)
Beautiful shot! Doesn't look like you have any more to learn with this lens at all. I WANT ONE!

I just acquired a Sigma 8-16 and am in love with this lens.

It works great with my K-01, except I had to configure the camera to release the shutter when not in focus. The focusing works properly indoors, but when shooting long shots outside, the camera will focus fine, but not release the shutter.

A couple from me..... from NYC trip

I am far from mastering wide angle in general, but here's two from the two extremes of the lens (both handheld):

Thanks for looking!
