Hi Guys,
No great photo, just some trees I planted on my hill nearly 20 years ago.
It is a huge crop, just 1/6 of original 8mm, nice the K-5 has plenty to play with

Hi everyone ! I think I am gonna to have this one, but I have questions that need your suggest.

1st: Will it fit full-frame Pentax film camera ? I have MZ-50 (and going to have more)
2nd: Does it has screw drive ? If not maybe I will switch to another non-HSM wide lens !

Thank you. Omnis.

No it won't cover FF. And I doubt it has screw drive.

Thanks gtl, one more question, I know this is a noob question but because I do not have any HSM lens so I just ask. Can I use this lens as a manual lens in Pentax film body ? :-)

Fotodiox sells a flter kit for UW lenses. One fits our Sigma 8-16. The adapter "clamps" around the lens and takes their 145mm ND, and pola filters. Named the Wonder Pana 145. Trying to decide if I need this. Wish Sigma hade made a gel holder on the back of lens.
thanks

Tried manual focusing for the first time with it the other night and wasn't that great, but then again I've just started using the lens so...

This one was auto focus I believe. I'm still learning with it but I love it so far.

(I'm whoring this picture out as well - such great color)

I was shooting the USS Constitution in Boston Harbor a while ago. I made the mistake of putting the ship pushed over to the extreme right (in order to compose out a 200 foot crane there on the dock), and essentially distorted the entire image. I corrected it to a degree by removing the keystoning (perspective correction) effect in LR4, but it has the tendency in elongating or stretching the result (in the vertical axis) in my instance. I thought that you might enjoy seeing the before and after...

The original thread with all the images (most of them with the 8-16) is here...
