No, the content of that image is pretty much unaltered. I adjusted the angle of the lens so the flare spot would be less intrusive in the image. The hard part about getting an image like that is those flowers were loaded with pollen, which tends to stick to glass and is near impossible to remove without liquid cleaner. I had to do several takes between cleaning the lens - the Sigma 8-16mm is great for showing specks on both the sensor and on the front element.

Nicely done in working around the flare spot. It blends in about as well as one could hope.

well hiding it was the only choice I had. With this lens at 8mm setting it is impossible to include the sun in an image and simultaneously avoid flare.

Hello everyone, this is the result of watching too much of your great images: another serious case of LBA (lens buying addiction) that happened few days ago.
Here are some test images that I did to become acquainted with the lens, especially regarding chromatic aberrations. I did not edit flare spots on purpose.
