That is a beautiful shot, Ghostrider. This is the kind of stuff the DA14 is made for, great work.

Since Pete very kindly sold me his DA14 a while back, I thought the least I could do was post a few images from it. Thanks Pete

I was in Oamaru, New Zealand yesterday for work, and took the K-5 and the DA14. Oamaru has very nice Whitestone Victorian Architecture, and is also New Zealand's 'Steampunk' capital - so an interesting place to photograph

Here are a few images from Oamaru Wide. I was inspired by the photos posted on this thread, and really enjoyed using the DA14.

Beautiful Mid-Winter Afternoon in South Canterbury

We do get some lovely winter days here in South Canterbury, New Zealand. Today was one of them, and as the sun started setting I could tell there was going to be fantastic light and shadow, so I grabbed the K-5 and the 14/2.8 and my Zeiss 35/2 and headed for Limestone Valley Road, Cave - which is about 20 minutes from home.

The image below was taken at the first rise in Limestone Valley Road looking across the valley at the farmland.

The 14mm f2.8 is a really underrated lens. I came upon it when I found a good deal locally on a used one. It has since been fixed once after I dropped it and has generally managed like a trooper. It has been my go-to lens when I attend conventions (the 14mm and a 55mm or 85mm on a second camera body).

Nice portrait Yasik, but this is a thread for the neglected DA14 2.8, there is a da* thread for the 50-135
Heh))) Sorry just missed the correct thread.

Looks proper to me! The DA 14mm's close focus distance makes it a great lens for getting up close and personal like you did with that Hemi. Nicely done!
