I've just got my first really wide (aps-c) lens in the DA 14mm. Some shots from my first outing with it.

Lovely shots and I'm really liking 'flow'. The DA14 is a very nice lens often forgotten about.

Even I forgot about it all the time, but somehow I ended up with one. I'm very happy to say the least so far as it performs way above my expectation, reviews bash it most of the time. It will get a hardcore test round when I soon travel to the north for an aurora trip.

Some more pics as I try to get the hang of really wide lenses. Note that I used a quite dirty, impossible to clean, soligor polarizing filter as I can't find my awesome Marumi.

Some night shots. The moon was super-bright and flared out most of te stars in many of the shots.

Hoping to test out my new K-01/DA14 combo next week with a trip to the peaks, give it a good outing, so far though has been confined to sitting indoors with a test of its close focus ability:
