I just bought a Q and Q-to-K adapter, but there are no critters yet, the temps are still around 0C (32F). In the meantime, here's my macro rig and some shots from last summer. (K20D is shown here with 16-45, but I use the D FA 100 for macro). I can't wait to try the Q with this setup.

A 50/2.8 Macro

For no particular reason, I've spent some time with the A 50/2.8 recently. Actually, I'm not a great fan of the FL but it's performed well.

Been looking forward to joining this club for a long time. Well today I took my new-to-me D-FA100WR out for a spin...

I was shooting in TAv mode and laughed when I got home to realize this was ISO3200. I could never have done this on my old K-7.

I returned the Q to K adapter and ordered the 06 telephoto lens. I was not satisfied with the performance of K-mount lenses on a Q.

Hi there!

Here the outside macro season definitely started! Some pictures I took with the Kiron macro lens I had for a long time but it was horribly to use due to all kinds of rubbish and weird residue inside on some glass. Last winter I finely got the nerves to clean it myself with good results (at least I didn't damage anything whilst doing it ) .

1st: I love the jumping spiders ....

2nd: Lots and lots of these moths fly around the freshly green leaves of birch trees ...

3rd: This jumping spider I had the chance to use Kiron lens with helicoid extension tube to get closer... It's my favourite of the pics because I never seen this species before.

I hope you enjoy! I love the jumping spiders shot with Q some replies ago!

kind regards, Margriet
