I am really impressed with those Q - vivitar 55mm shots !

It's a bit crappy weather here today, so I will have to do with looking at pics of critters in stead of the actual critters.. bleeegh winter time...

wow Margriet that is a very nice image of a Sphinx Moth. We have them here in Eastern Oregon, but usually they are out when it is too dark to photograph them.

There are a lot of different sphingidae moths, this one; Macroglossum stellatarum or hummingbird hawk-moth flies during daytime and is fairly common in Europe, so easy pray for photographers
