A "Franken-lens" creation of mine ... a Jena (Carl Zeiss) Cardinar 100/4 in Werra rangefinder mount on K-mount extension tubes ... @ about 30mm+ of tube ... a test shot at near wide open on K-5, ISO 160, about 1/250's, if I remember correctly ... need to tube it even more to see what it can do (x-post)

Headed out into the front yard with my K-3 mounted to a Sigma 180mm 1:3.5 macro lens and saw this:
Black Chinned Hummingbird

Then shot a few flowers

Red Dahlia

Asiatic Lilly

Clemata vine after blooms dropped (seed pod maybe?)

All images shot 24 May 2014.

Thank you Jean, It is fairly capable and with the ability to crop and still have very clear images the K3 makes the combination nice. Yes the hummingbird would be better if I had the Sigma 50-500mm on the K3, but you only get moments to shoot the little birds.
