Taken last winter when I was off sick and told to stay home. Got bored so I found a couple pieces of black foam core and decided to practice product photography, like I went to school to study 40 years ago, with a couple manual strobes, radio triggers and my K70 and Pentax DFA 100mm Macro lens. Hope this qualifies for this thread.

Front porch safari with DFA 100mm Macro WR

In general I think these are just average macro pictures. I’ve seen some extraordinary ones here.

EDIT: My Mistake! The Skink was not taken with Macro lens and I can’t figure out how to remove it from this post. But that is the fattest 5 Line Skink I’ve ever seen on my porch or anywhere. Sorry.

More real macro photos. I decided to explore this technique in more depth when real life gets out of the way. I just bought into the Q system including the K/Q adapter. Can’t wait to try the 100mm macro out on one of my Q7s.

Sigma EX 105/2.8 Macro

More than the shot, I'm very proud to have grown this little pepper indoors, mid winter here in the NorthEast. Plant was a seed from a store-bought green pepper sprayed in a houseplant's pot. I also have a few small orange tree sprouts, which will need their own pot, in time.
